Photographer’s Note
The delightful old library building in Mittagong, where I live, started life as the local school in 1848, making it one of the oldest buildings in the town.
Originally Mittagong was named after the English town of Sheffield which could explain the Englishness of the architecture. The building is built of local sand stone.

Hi Ian
No too many Aussies on TE. Good shot of this lovely sandstone library, I haven't seen it and I lived in the Illawarra most of my life, ha! TFS

Hello Ian,
The old schools often exert an attractive charm, and remind the memories of oldest. The light is a little strong, but do not blur the details and the colors. A simple and very pleasant photograph. Cheer.
Have a nice day.
Cordially.

Ian,
Nicely composed shot of this sandstone building. The lighting and colors are fine as is the photo's sharpness. I would like to have had a little more space on the right not cropping quite so close to the side wall. The deep blue sky provides nice contrast for the sandstone structure.
TFS,
