Photographer’s Note

This sidewalk (with coffee shops) is located in Audley Street, Petersham, which is an inner west suburb of Sydney.

POIDB.com says Petersham is located 6 km south west from the Sydney Central Business District. Petersham is famous for its large Portuguese community which is reflected in the many Portuguese businesses and restaurants.

I grabbed this shot in colour but converted to B&W. I also cropped a large part of footpath FG.

I hope you can find some good Portuguese cuisine even if the picture does not show any Portuguese business. Only one Brazilian!!! I would prefer to have a wider view of the businesses signs with the picture taken, maybe, from the road side. Well done.

I think you did very good pp work :) I like this cropped version, and I even like the B&W version (though as a rule, I prefer colour). Very good daily life capture, and I like the framing; these ads are a naural part of the scene! somehow this view reminds me of a similar passage in Stockholm... but without coffee shops :)
