This is the second photo out of 6 that I shall be uploading from a recent outing to '' Yass '' in NEW SOUTH WALES - AUSTRALIA.
This small bird looked so nice on the rustic coloured branch - nature is so wonderful.

The trees and the branches are framing well the bird. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the bird. The good luminosity is bringing out the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Dawn,

Great photo, I believe the bird is a grey shrike thrush. I like the orange moss and lichens on the branches, the broken lighting coming through the native trees and the stance of the subject looking at something in the distance.

I don't know the name of the bird, but it's a very nice image.
I see not your lens on these photograph, F/22 is very good.
Sharpness and clarity are perfect.

This is a great close-up capture of the grey shrike thrush.
Very good sharpness against an enchanting background of leaves and branches.
I like the touch of colour made by the foreground branch and its rusty-coloured lichen.

You make a splendid close up picture and one to draw attention, a well-seized opportunity of this native beautiful bird. Sharp in focus, providing such awesome contrast to soft bg foliage and credit to you. It's an achievement coz shooting wildlife is not an easy task, I have not tried myself.
