'' GRAND ENTRANCE '', a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

A few days ago a group of people including myself visited a town in New South Wales called '' YASS '' the reason for our trip was to visit the '' Crisps Gallery '' which is famous for Glass ware & geranium plants - on this rural property I found this lovely Quirky entrance.
The day was fairly cold & overcast & I was very pleased to be able to take a few photo's with my new camera.

Hello Dawn,
They make a splendid pair of gateposts these massive wheels. I like the point of view and the dappled light that picks out the lovely purple flowers. Excellent colours and clarity.

Very simple shot but with great colors and details of the place.The gate although goes unnoticed most of the time,but your strong sense of observation has brought it to the cynosure of the viewers eyes.Excellent choice of your angle this gives perspective and depth image.Well done.TFS

This is a good shot of these original gateposts. Good angle with sharp colors. I like the litte blue flowers spread around.

I like the title you gave this lovely photo, show a nice yard with purple flowers grow allaround.
Nice corner with two big wheels, and inspite the cold and clouds you managed good lighting.

Hi Dawn,

An inviting country scene here.
The gates are inviting and the surrounding wildflowers are beautiful. One can almost feel the clear rural air. A great scattering of natural light on the ground which makes good patterns and catches the eye. Looking forward to more of your Aussie photos.
