Photographer’s Note
Wollongong is on the east coast of New South Wales, about an hour south of Sydney. It was originally an industrial city with Port Kembla and the stellworks as major employers. Since the 1960s that area has broadened economically, and now boasts a large university and a toursit trade. It is reported to be the only city on the east coast of Australia with two lighthouses -- pictured here.

hi, Mike,
nice work on the light and the long explosure! a good thing to use the polarizer, is to make the sky look more blue and add more contrast too. u got everything and put them together. well done! thanks for sharing!

Hi Mike.
A rather nice blue hour shot with panoramic format. Your crop has given it the 'classic' rule of thirds proportions, with the sand, the water and the sky. The detail in the shadowy foreground is well preserved. The buildings and lights are sharply captured with your 6 second exposure. It reminds me that I haven't been to Wollongong for about 12 years.
Regards,
Andrew
