Photographer’s Note
The older lighthouse was buit in 1871 and deactivated in 1974. The taller lighthouse was built in 1936 and was the first automatic light in New South Wales.
Taken on a calm winter's evening just after sunset, I like the misty wave action over the rocks.

Great sharpness here considering the long exposure. The misty sea is masterfully created.

Hello Chris,
very well composed this shot, with the lighthouse well placed off center with the rocks in the fg well balancing the compo. The long exposure makes the ocean almost surreal with the water which looks like mystic fog and added a great feeling too. The quality you delivered is excellent, with great sharpness and light management. I like it!
Thanks for sharing and regards,

Hi Chris, that 30 seconds did a great job of softening the blues in this shot, not just of the water with that great mist, but with the clouds as well. It is sharp in the appropriate areas, on land with the rock and lighthouses. These all stand out very well against the blue. The exposure is excellent in this long exposure, giving us great sharp detail throughout the shot, with the lights especially drawing our eye into the shot. Very nicely done, and welcome back.
Thanks, John

Hi Chris,
Excellent long exposure twilight shot. Small aperture makes stars of those lights and it's interesting to see two lighthouses next to each other. Mist between rocks is special too.

Hi Chris,
A very lovely scene indeed. You are right about the misty wave and I also find the star bursts doing a great job creating more excitement here. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and the good layout of the elements. Well done!!
Best wishes and thanks.

Hello Chris,
I like a lot this shot. First for its exposure setting nicely bright and for the long exposure time giving a smooth rendering of the water in the foreground.
Second, for the composition well equilibrated with a good placement of the lighthouses in a corner and for the blue tones of the cloudy sky, the sea and the waves.
Yves.

Hello Chris,
I am really impressed with this long exposure probably taken at night, although it looks like a daylight picture. The waves produce an interesting foggy look which I like very much and so are the pastel bluish colors.
I wish you a great week - Izzet
