What a wonderful creature, and so clearly captured. It has a very powerful looking beak,maybe more happy eating seeds?
Lovely image that maybe belongs more on the Treknature website, but i am more than happy to see the colorful fellow here on TE.

Hello Murray,
What a beautiful capture of this feathered little fellow!
I like the bright colours, but the sharp details even more. What lens did you use?
The leaf on the right gets a bit in the way, and it's the only thing that separates this shot from perfection. Really a pity!
I also like how you kept the subject slightly on the right, following the rule of thirds.
Great job, and thanks for sharing!
