This shot was taken at my favorite place in Sydney.
The place is called La Perouse Beach.
I have used Circular polarizing Hoya filter as well. :o)

this isnt fair...we dont have beaches like that..:)
its a most powerful and graphic landscape and your frame has done a good job in reinforcing the horizontal plane..i must try that as well..

joeydrops (2659) 2006-03-08 8:20
Magnificent shot! The POV is truly superb showing the lines of the rocks well. The lighting and depth are excellent and the colours are lovely. I like the drama created by the clouds. Really well composed and captured!

cherryripe (21033) 2006-03-08 8:44
What a wonderful POV to show the amazing details of the seaworn rocks. The red of the cliff stands out really well against the dark sky. Very pretty light.
regis (2058) 2006-03-08 8:51
Truly amazing landscape. There is so much "action" in the foreground + the nice composition of the sky makes this shot really fantastic. I hope to find such a place like this some day.

A belated welcome to TE Radim. Thank you for alerting me to your gallery; every single shot so far is fantastic.
In this one you have used the light so well to emphasise the patterns on these amazing rocks. Your composition and low POV help our eyes to use the lines to take us through the image to the red rocks in the background. Excellent DOF and focusing to have both foreground and background in sharp focus.
jasmis (58123) 2006-03-08 8:53
Amazing place shown in extraordinary way. Superb polarized light. Well done. Regards, Radim.

another breath taking picture with excellent composition, natural, yet beautiful colours and 3D feeling you achieved with you skill. 3 more and you can make unique calendar of Australia.
AMZINCHIA (1082) 2006-03-08 9:53
Stunning picture, with another display of your favourite hues: off-whites, oranges and blues. Textures are just fabulous too. And the direction in which the eye is taken into the horizon is very dynamic. Another perfect job of yours. I think I cannot resist your style so I've added your work into my favorites. Welcome, and TFS! --amz

Oldtree (2457) 2006-03-08 17:48
Wonderful composition and beautiful colors. I think I would have prefered a symetrical frame, but the rest is just great. Thanks for sharing.
Wahclellaspirit (4093) 2006-03-09 2:30
Good Day Radim,
Great composition as the rock looks like waves breaking across the beach. Very detailed work in nature here--Good depth, perfect angle, exceptional shadows, very beautiful place...
dkeus31 (27735) 2006-03-09 5:51
Superb light giving much details and shadows on the foreground rocks.
Very nice and graphical.
alekpet (4663) 2006-03-09 6:07
It's great how the stone forms mimic those of the clouds or viceversa.
I appreciate the feeling you managed to achieve when I watched the photo.
It's hjust great!
jinju (14265) 2006-03-09 7:11
I bow to you, as this shot is pure magic. The way you play with light here is magnificent. The colors are just great. Simply said, a fantastic shot.
MLINES (12516) 2006-03-11 19:23
Good composition, using low angled light which highlights the weathering pattern of this sandstone bench near the coast. Well seen and portrayed.

Hello Radim. I must say the results seen in this photo are simply stunning. Incredible movement in these stones. It looks like you caught them in motion. A delight to see this...thanks for sharing!
singuanti (15250) 2006-03-13 21:50
Hi Radim. I think it's the super low shooting angle that helps make this so good. The light and shadows are amazing to look at. I was thinking it looked liked you used a polarizer and I'm glad to see the confirmation in the note. Awesome shot Radim!
capthaddock (28790) 2006-03-14 9:31
Hi Radim - another knockout and another favourite, everything is the way it should be, man, I just can't wait till I can get a hold of the 17-40mm.
benkrut (2407) 2006-03-14 21:34
You have to change your intro note - you're a professional. I can say that after watching your photos.
This one is absolutely beatiful!! It looks like stoned sea indeed. Perfect.
dHitman (0) 2006-03-14 22:25

lu_muratori (618) 2006-03-30 0:04
Absolutely stunning photo. Great composition and work with light, but I must say just as a comment that this frame looks really bad to me...
perryhooter (2424) 2006-04-02 13:17
Very impressive shot Radim, with your low POV. It works perfectly here. Lovely framing and use of your polarizer.
jafadabret (56501) 2006-04-03 9:23
C'est une photo comme on en voit peu (même sur TE !)
J'aime ce mouvement pétrifié comme dans un instantané. La lumière rasante donne encore plus de force à cette impression. Le polarisant a bien fonctionné pour les couleurs et pour le ciel.
craiggc (2509) 2006-04-04 9:12
Very sharp and imposing shot.
danielswalsh (13599) 2006-04-04 9:35
Another amazing shot...
I really can't figure out how I haven't seen your shots before. Amazing landscape- I wish we had something 'interesting' such as that here in Singapore. The polariser seems to have cut down some of the brightness reflecting off the rock, and brough out some good details in the sky.
patriik (1935) 2006-05-12 4:11
THIS IS MARVELOUS!
FANTASTIC PLACE AND VERY WELL CAPTURED!!

Only now I discovered your stunning gallery. Wow!
Really interesting. I choose this image due of your PoV and the colours. Great use of wide lens really apt for this photo.
picardo (2459) 2007-02-13 9:46
Wooooow.. This one looks like a extraterrestrial landscape. There is a place in the movie 'FinalFantasy' that's very similar to this place. Excelent picture
Andre-H (1271) 2007-05-09 5:16
Really incredible landscape you've got here, and great title because it certainly does look like cliffs overa rough sea.
jirivrobel (542) 2007-07-24 4:32
Amazing shot with excellent composition and perspective. Congratulations!
igoneves (71) 2007-07-24 4:32
Very nice photo! Good the texture of the rocks and the dark clouds in the top of it! It would be very nice if there was a crab somewhere in your photo eheh ;)
abulafia (4900) 2007-10-23 22:33
Nice one Radim
I like the foreground with the worn cliffs with small pools of water in it, very good idea to use that low pov.
