"Vivid Sydney is the Southern Hemisphere’s largest festival of light, music and ideas, which for 18 days, from 23 May to 9 June 2014, transforms the Harbour City with its colourful creative canvas. The spirit of Patyegarang is the first Indigenous contribution to the Vivid Light Walk, and brings to life a fascinating story from our country’s past."
"Projected onto the sandstone blocks of the Sydney Harbour Bridge southern pylon, The spirit of Patyegarang is a 3-minute large-scale video commemorating one of the earliest collaborations between the original custodians of the land and the new settlers, inspiring residents and visitors with the sensations and emotions of first contact."

An interesting note and my kind of shot too. All the more interesting for the fact that I will be in OZ next year - though Melbourne as opposed to Sydney. Shame because I would like to see this festival of light I imagine it would be a real gift to photographers.

It sounds like a great festival to experience. Pity it's not just round the corner!!
You have created a very striking image, here. It takes observation and imagination, along with your notes, to piece together the clues. That shows how successful this has been in grabbing my attention!
Have a great day,

fascinating shot this! Intriguing as a T/nail and strangely compelling full size. It is a highly original presentation and captured so imaginatively. Wonderful!

Excellently captured image. 1/8sec handheld? That's master's class!
Beautiful image, very artistic.
