During a 6km walk though a part of Sydney we'd not seen before was rather like being in Englland. This and many other houses in Hunters Hill, near the harbour had a distinctly English feel about them. It is one of the older and certainly one of the best of the leafy suburbs seen recently.

The edges and the trees are framing well the house. The point of view is showing a double perspective of the architecture of the house. The good luminosity is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.

Yes, I can see why you titled this shot as you did; a thatched roof with raised roof lights and the impression would have been complete.
You have composed this well, the well positioned tree anchoring the f/g and creating a good lead to the house. The dof is good, providing all the details sharply.
Have a good day,

Hi dear Murray
Wow, it looks like something straight out of the Cotswolds. What an unusual sight to see. A good shot, despite the overcast conditions. It's well-composed, beautifully sharp and beautiful colours.
