Pelican at Swansea Flat, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

Swansea was named on October 7th 1887. The town was originally called Pelican Flat. Swansea is located 140kms north of Sydney on the channel entrance to Lake Macquarie. Lake Macquarie has a volume four times that of Sydney Harbour. It is only 1.5hours from Sydney. Swansea township lies between the ocean and the lake. Swansea Flat is on the lake.

The warm light enriches the shot and brings out some lovely tones. Good reflections of the pelican and trees on the surface of the water. The upturned boats provide interest and context in the background. Very well done.

Ciao Trevor, i try this years the wild nature shot and i get same satisfaction...
The image is so clear and with so good golden light, the scene is well framed and there is also same pleasant reflection, also the atmosphere is peaceful ...wonderful shot!!!
