We are lucky enough to be able to enjoy a little bit of heaven not far fom where we are enjoying a break from Englands winter,Lake Parramatta is an old disused reservoir that is now a haven for wildlife and OAPs.

Hi Leslie,
It looks as though this image was composed by a painter. Very nice. Terrific late light on the water, rocks, and the trunks of the trees. When I first saw the title and the thumbnail I thought it was located in Australia.

winter only just started and I hanker for Spring already. Shots like this do temper that feeling and this is a glorious reminder that it is summer in the southern hemisphere. Beautiful, enjoy yourself.

Lovely to see some pictures "fresh off the press" from your Australian trip. And I hope you've not been having too much trouble from that awful lady, Lisa! :o)

A fine restful scene (just the thing for us OAPs) with lovely soft lighting and delightful colours. Well composed too and with excellent framing from the large tree on the right.

unmistakeble Oz,with that gumtrees all around,it seems like a HDR photo,a place to hang around for ages and listen to the birds:=]
