There's been lots of rain around the last few days and floods in lower lying towns (where I live is safely in the highlands). Today there was a bit of a respite from the rain so I headed out to our main local waterfalls looking for spectacular photos.
The first waterfall visited was the most well know, Fitzroy Falls where I found some English tourists marvelling at the change by the minute view.
By the time I got to the lookout where you get a full length view the mists were obscuring the falls with the raging waters only just visible - it was still beautiful.
For more classic photos of Fitzroy click on the Morton National Park folder above. I'll post more photos from today over the next week or so.

I like the smell after the rain. The freshness and dreamy fog is beautiful in the frame.
Thanks and kind regards,

I never imagined so much water in the rivers of Australia, even in times of flood. The picture is spectacular, and well framed from branches. A great shot and an interesting document. Bravo.

a moody yet mellow shot this. Like the way you have composed it with the greenery in the fg to give scale and an anchor point for the misty beauty beyond. Excellent!
