After the rain, a photo from New South Wales, East

Photographer's Note

There's been lots of rain around the last few days and floods in lower lying towns (where I live is safely in the highlands). Today there was a bit of a respite from the rain so I headed out to our main local waterfalls looking for spectacular photos.
The first waterfall visited was the most well know, Fitzroy Falls where I found some English tourists marvelling at the change by the minute view.
By the time I got to the lookout where you get a full length view the mists were obscuring the falls with the raging waters only just visible - it was still beautiful.

Hello Ian,
I never imagined so much water in the rivers of Australia, even in times of flood. The picture is spectacular, and well framed from branches. A great shot and an interesting document. Bravo.

Hi Ian, Superb rain forest setting . not easy with all the water vapour.. but excellent to get some FG- with the wonderful wafterfall as the BG . well posted mate. Ric
