Photographer’s Note

Our local government authority is running a photographic competition to mark the 'Year of the Built Environment'.

We happen to live in a naturally beautiful place, where the built environment is often appalling and disconnected from the wonderful natural environment.

So this is not a happy picture, a mess of cars and mucky structures and people not even properly in the picture, let alone part of the environment, while in the background, nature goes about its business... but obviously not stunning many people today [sigh]
