Ciao Lisa,
Black and white suits the mood perfectly in depicting this rather austere looking church. I like the depth offered by the leaf strewn foreground. Excellent sharpness and a fine range of tones.

Ciao Lisa
I like the leaves in the long foreground, the very low point of view and the wind movement in the tree on the left. Very well done.
Have a nice day

Hi Lisa,
I like these fallen leaves on the ground. They made the picture more appealing.

Namaste Lisa,
it is a wonderful composition and nicely presented in black and white. Right selection of mode I think... I can't remember any of your shot in monochrome. But it is really superb. Nice to see those trees beside the architecture... While those dried leafs added depth to it. I enjoyed the tone of the sky a lot... Excellent work. Tfs.

Hello Lisa,
I am so enjoying your big stopper collection :)
The B&W certainly works on these images very effectively. I did wonder how you might manage wind movement of trees or plants with these long exposures if it wasn't a completely still day but I see there is no management necessary, it just adds to the otherworldly feel
Well done
Cheers

Hi Lisa,
You are having fun with your Stopper filter, don't you?! It's a tool I'm looking forward to add to my backpack (Lee Big Stopper).
I think that you have used this tool in a fabulous context, with very relevant subject and under perfect weather conditions. The leaves on the ground are a great feature, and you have done the right thing by getting very low - that's the way to go! It isn't always something I enjoy on my own shots, but in this case, I like the moving branches on the upper part.
When a photographer achieve a high level like you are, I allow myself to nitpicking... :-p)) The only thing I would have been tempted to erase are these isolated branches that are floating close to the edge of the upper frame. I usually prefer to have entire bunch of leaves or branches in the frame, as the ones that are dangling around are nothing more than visual parasites. In this particular case, they bring nothing to the composition, and they are interrupting the movement in the clouds that you have worked hard to achieved.
But I'm repeating, this is nit-picking... as this shot is really awesome.
Cheers!
André

Hey Lisa
Moody shot with an autumnal feel. There is always something about the atmosphere of a church yard that lends itself to b and w. Nice level of contrast with good foreground interest that gives a sense of scale too relative to the tower.
Nice shot

Hello Lisa,
I have just acquired a filter kit (neutral density and graduated) and you have given me an excellent idea. What a fabulous image you have created. The sense of movement on the clouds and the trees is wonderful and the very low POV gives an immense sense of space against the height of the tower. What a pleasure to view. Best wishes.

Ciao Lisa,
I enjoy your experiments with the new filter and few more pictures like this and I will buy it as well. Charming church very well presented. I like the leaves in the foreground. The highlight are of course the smoothed clouds in the sky.
Amazing effect,

Hi Lisa - A quick peak at TE while traveling & my eye falls on this beauty. Fabulous low POV and textural detail in the leaves is highlighted by the use of B&W. The big stopper has done its job on the sky and wind=blown branches. I wish I was seeing this on my desktop rather that a piddly little lap top where I have to scroll down to see the image in sections! Go well. Rosemary

Hello Lisa
I like what your doing with all these filters, with some great effects as a result, looks very impressive in B&W. I have been absent from TE for a long time almost giving up on it but I have found some inspiration from all the photos taken with the 5D so I went out and bought one. Posting the rest of my stock photo's while I get to know the 5D, I would be more than happy with some starter tips! Keep up the good work
Cheers Peter

Ciao Lisa,

Hi Lisa
real sense of atmosphere and drama in this excellent shot. Love the effect of the filter and the wonderful leafy fg detailing. It has an eerie almost haunted quality about it. Fascinating!
Have a great weekend - regards Brian.

hi lisa,
another cracker with the big filter. the detail is stunning. again your black and white format is perfect to bring out all of the textures and tonal differences in the scene. great foreground with all the leaves, love the tree on the right. again the effect of the filter and long exposure on the clouds is very dramatic.

Hi Lisa
This looks like another shot of some stylish vampiric movies yet another real eerie vibe. Love your vision and I can see what you are trying to achieve here with a strange sense of peace about it for me. There is a gentleness to the tones and a strength in the architecture, a place that holds so many memories for sure. Immense capture LIsa, Lovely viewpoint with the fallen leaves guide through connecting to the prominent subject with the trees and the 'moving clouds', I am really overwhelmed by those highlights which you have captured admirably and thks to the filters effect. Your processing is so appealing, an interesting technique emplyed and lots of feeling about it. Well done, TFS
Warm regards

Lisa

Hi Lisa,
Mid winter in NSW, and seeing the leaves on ground, on a B&W photo - sure to give me a melancholy...
Yet, your photojob is remarkable, the outlines and other elements on the edifice are clearly shown.
Enjoy a nice weekend,

Another fine image, and I am delghted to see the other view of this wonderful little church. The way you have presented this, like the last shot is superb, and again I love the choice of sepia here. It adds age and mystery to the shot (Big shout out to the spooky tree on the right!!) and makes a brilliant picture.
Slan!

Ciao cara Lisa,
L' immagine e' affascinante, complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buona giornata,
Ourania

Hello Lisa,
As I see from your gallery I missed many of yours excellent photos. This is one of them. Perfect conversion to B & W in gerat light. I like the composition with the ground covered with leaves in the front and the church framed by trees in the BG. The low angle viewpoint is very good and the verical format fit very well to it. Nicely done. Have a very nice week ahead.

Ciao Lisa,
Bravissima
Un abbraccio

Certainly a close cousin to your earlier shot of this church, Lisa. I like this one a ton - great and almost eerie vibe to it, with almost half the frame taken up by dead leaves on the ground and the rest by the church under a long exposure that adds nice movement to the sky and tree branches. Great contrast really brings out the details on the tower. Great use of your filter!

Ciao Bambina !!
I am learning more from your photos than from anybody else...... so many thanks !!

Hey NGF,
Interesting to see this presentation in Black and White. I'm recently experimenting more with B&W. Even if I don't think it will work but I will try anyway, and some really turn out pretty cool. As I see, this one turn out really cool too, and the semi sepia tone really adds to the mood of the image with falling leaves which give it that fall atmosphere and a sense of melancholic mood. I see the wind is very strong for I see the motion on the tree and the clouds.
Once againa great shot with good quality and the depth is wonderfull here.

Hi Lisa!
I like this b&w! The sense of movement given by the branches is perfect and I really like the way you framed it, with this carpet of fallen leaves in foreground. Good atmosphere! - seems an autumn photo!
