A wonderful composition full of serenity. The sky is quite fantastic and I like very much the silk like quality of the ocean with its swirling currents. Lovely range of pink and blue-grey tones. Splendid work.

Sublime! (and for the record Lisa, high horses give good views) This is truly beautiful, so calm and restful. You have tamed the sea with your excellent exposure. The colours are subtle and delicate, the textures in the waves misty and ethereal and the composition simple and understated. I really admire your artistic interpretation of coastal views. Nice to hear that you have calmed down. Just let it all wash over you and lie back and take it just like the rest of us. Funny, though, I could have sworn that I heard on the news just last night that the Australian government had just sold off all photographic rights in NSW to some Iranian media consortium - or did I get that wrong? Hee, hee, hee - as Luciano would say.

Yes, this is the sort of photograph by which we recognise you! And you've removed your "big stopper" (pleasurable though that might have been) and resorted to your more usual ND gradiuated filter.

Again, the light and your subtle use of it has made this a beautiful photograph: the brighter light on the smoothed sea is magical and contrasts well with the darker, interesting and more colourful sky. The line of the water's edge is fabulous, leading the viewer well into the picture toward the distant rocks.

Gorgeous colours, lovely light, perfect exposure and stunning details.

Very nice. The feet of your tripod and your crocs must have been wet. Very good depth and a nice touch of pink in the sky.

The effects are beautiful. The composition great - with the lights and colours at an optimum level of saturation - heightening the effect of the curve on the beach.
The silk if the waters is very effectively done with the exposure of 8 sec.

Oh riecco la signora delle acque, scatto stupendo con un POV e una inquadratura D.O.C. l'effeto slow motion è meraviglioso sembra quasi nebbia, ottimo l'uso del filtro...

Ps Lisa le tue note e i tuoi scatti politici non disturbano affatto...anzi...more and more....

hi lisa,
this is another stunning picture in this series. the colours are beautiful, very subtle tone changes, and visually very appealing. the mood is quite magical, enhanced by the movemtn in the water which you have created perfectly with the long exposure. the rocky ledge on the right leads very well into the centre of the picture and brings the viewer right into the middle of the action.

Another really lovely ethereal beach shot, Lisa. You really do capture these wonderfully, though a political rant now and again isn't a bad thing :) Nice capture both of water and sky, showing great movement in wonderful low light!

Good to return to posts pic.'s like this remote beach, where taking photos that enlight and calm the mind.
An exalted picture, one of your series of many, each one is different and show more of the majestic place so well collected. Influenced by the clouds, the whole has fabulous tones.

More Forresters magic. Lovely to have your both feet planted firmly on the ground again although completely justified horsemanship:)
I have myself a new pair of waterproof boots! The movement of the clouds as well as the flow of water off the shelf give a wonderfully surreal feel to this shot. The soft, muted colours just magical. I do like the feeling of menace from those breakers further out

L' atmosfera e' accattivante e, malgrado la tranquilita' evocata dalle tonalita', il senso di movimento su acqua e cielo che si percepisce piu' che si osserva la vista, nasconde un' intensita' affascinante. A very dramatic image! I really liked the misty and milky effect on the waters, the hint of pink in the sky and the blue and grey tones that covers this image. The atmosphere and feel is just amazing! Wonderful capture on this one! Definitely my favorite views to capture!

Hi Lisa!

The composition is very good!
The long exposure softened the sharp texture of rippling sea and the proper use of lighting gave the best result. The view provided by the cloudy sky on the horizon with openings allows light to reach our eyes nicely!
The joy of the landscape photographer is to be able to capture images like this one.

Hi Lisa,

WOW!!! Like something out of a fairytale - I have to learn how to use filters etc; until then I continue to enjoy wonderful photo's such as this one Lisa... can't help picturing Pegasus the flying horse visiting your photo... ha! just my silly sense of humour.
It is a very good image well done.
