ENGLISH: This is the rockpool at South Curl Curl Beach. There is also a natural rockpool at the other end of the beach at North Curl Curl. Curl Curl is situated on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Wonderful picture.
You've played wonderfully with all the lines to give a strong perspective. Even the sky with the flying clouds enhance this effect.
The quality is impressive, and what can I say about this marvelous grey tones and this beautiful luminosity ?
Excellent work, as usual.

I just have a suggestion.
I am not very sure about the part of the other guardrail on the right part, and even if there is a person in your composition, I don't find the electric post very aesthetic.
I propose my version in a WS, in which I remove these two elements, and where I performed a reverse to give the impression that we enter in the picture, and to give a better balance to the new cropped image.
Hope you don't mind.

Hello Lisa,
I like the graphic framing from the silver toned rails and the fine deep perspective across the pool with its lovely reflections of the sky. Pleasing soft light and colours under that mackerel sky. Not sure why, but the image has a pleasing unworldliness about it. Only two days to the weekend for you now.

Ciao (ancora),
bella immagine sicuramente avvalorata nella composizione dal bel cielo con le nuvole a pecorella.
Il riflesso di queste nuvole sull'acqua, fanno apparire la scena come se dalla scaletta anzichè scendere in acqua, si scendesse per camminare sopra le nuvole.

Bellissime le nuvole che hai ritratto in questa foto. Oltretutto il loro riflesso nell'acqua della piscina le rende ancor più affascinanti. Il punto di vista è eccezionale.

Well this a familiar place, I had to comment, but also, you have done Curly justice here. This has so much depth and clarity..awesome composition.
The rock pools are part of the old beach culture in Australia, i always get nostalgic for the old life when I see this...

very original composition. The stairs make an interesting foreground. The most beautiful is of course the wonderful sky and its reflection.
I am wondering if increasing the contrast would not make it even more impressive,

Hi Lisa,
Great shot ! The POV is excellent, with the banks of the pool in the foreground adding depth to the composition. The stairs in the foreground invite us to enter the pool. The light is very nice and the sky is wonderful !
