This cute little Chapel is located in a small town called Silverstone where the Mad Max Movie was filmed...
I was lucky enough to get a few shots that turned out well considering it was HOT & taken at mid-day.

Hello Dawn,

Yes, we can see by the absence of shadows on the ground that the sun is quite high and the light strong. This is a nice shot of this small church with a good angle of view. The light enhances the colors and the sharpness of the details is very good. Well done under the conditions described in your note.

Un beau cadrage efficace qui montre bien tous les détails architecturaux de cette belle petite église. Par contre, c'est un peu forcé au niveau de la saturation des couleurs.

The colours in this are really icnredible, so vibrant and beautiful. The red windows look superb against that brilliant blue sky,

Cute little chapel but this is bigger than the one I saw in Arizona recently, it can only hold about 3 people. I like your pov and it has good dof with sharp details. Wonderful colors. Well done, tfs.

Wonderfully beautiful little chapel, and at the same time a touchingly simple architecture. The intense orange color is amazing. Contrast with a clear blue sky is wonderful. Great sharpness.

I see no hill's to be broen, Dawn... named like a wild-west movie title...
Fine colors and outlines, taken on midday, hot hour - I can tell by the shades under the roof.

Hello Dawn,
When I first looked at this image in thumbnail I thought maybe I should rather turn to your earlier images ... but then I opened it.... I got grilled a few times for having taken landscapes at the "wrong" time of day in the arid western part of our country but very often one cannot be there early enough or hang around long enough for the soft light of day and, to be realistic, photography is about the here and now. How could I possibly understand how this little chapel stands up against the very hostile conditions should you show it to me in the soft glow of dusk or dawn? It is a hard but simple image in a hard land and I could go on about its photographic merits for a long time. Very well done indeed.

Great shot, those stark colours and relentless light are so Australian, there was not doubt that we were in the Aussie Outback. Excellent low POV, good sharpness and management of the harsh light.

PS: Yes, the pedestrian crossing cost $100,000 to $200,000 but when I think of all the tourism and money the Mardi Gras generates, it's understandable

Merci de vous inquiété de ne plus me voir sur TE, j'ai fait une rechute de bronchite, il semble que maintenant cela va mieux.....
J'ai choisie cette image car c'est les couleurs sont magnifiques, tout comme l'angle de prise, la texture des vielles pierres que la lumière rend bien, et puis ce ciel bleu azur qui s'ajoute merveilleusement
