This was a shot taken off the rocky outcrop just south of Bondi Beach in the company of our tour guide Lisa early one November morning whilst waiting for a sun rise that never came, next time we`ll do better!

Wonderfull capture of this beautiful scenery. Very good pov and layout.
Long exposure time creates a nice effect of the waves.
TFS and best regards

I really enjoy your photos and this one is no exception. Well captured movement and dynamism of the sea on that day. It is quite captivating combination of good and bad weather and the sky looks great.
Very nice colors of the rocks in the foreground.
All the best and thanks for sharing

très belle capture! La composition, le mouvement, les textures donnent une ambiance très particulière et très agréable à cette photo.

I could watch the sea ebbing and flowing all day, it never repeats itself pattern or shape wise, and to watch on Bondi is one I can only dream about. Love the slow speed here and the silky tones it captures. Beautiful!

Ha! Ha! Leslie, I remember doing something similar when visiting Kath (Feather) and only managing to shoot clouds!!
I don't think the lack of sun is a problem except for your own disappointment. The swirl of the water leads irresistibly to the spume where the line of separation to the wider sea occurs.
I usually prefer to see the sea with its natural vibrant movement but, here, I find it beautifully artistic.
Have a lovely day,

Une très belle technique de longue exposition pour cette composition qui ressemble un peu aux belles images de Delpeoples. Il faut dire que la côte australienne est belle et bouge beaucoup.

Nice effect of the water captured in slow shutter speed. The cloudy weather has been wonderfully utilized and drama in the sky is nicely balanced with the drama in the water. An attractive shot with very good colors and perspective.
