Just back from a few days in Melbourne. We drove back yesterday via the Hume Highway on a cold windy day through a mix of sunshine and driving rain. (It was snowing in the mountains to the east). I was taking a break from driving as we drove towards more heavy clouds but with a touch of sunshine in the foreground. I took a few photos through the windscreen (which was very clean from all the rain) so the foreground does show some movement from fast driving (probably about 110 kph).

Hello IAn ,
I love those skies and lights . We get many of them this moment in my region .
Here , a simple but beautiful composition , and the yellow trees are real bonus .

this looks like the end of the world. The sky is so unusual, so very dramatic. No wonder that you stopped to take a photo. As a hobby photographer I am always excited when I have a chance to see light like this.
Very well done,
