Photographer’s Note
The "new" parliament building was opened in 1988. I think it reflects a bit of Australian character in that citzens can take to the grass on top of the building, and stand over their elected representatives are work. The flag, though, stands higher than all of the citizens.
It was a bit of a dull day, so I did a bit of PP work to add a virtual grad filter and to increase the color saturation.

Impressive, lovely composition, what a great building. Even though I lived in Canberra for six years in the 1970s I have not been to Canberra since the new Parliament house was built, I would love to see it in real life. TFS
