I rather like the composition, using all those lovely curves and circles makes for a most interesting, almost surreal photograph, nice symmetry also.
The long exposure has worked well, there`s lots of detail throughout the frame.
I remember that after our visit to the memorial we left feeling very humbled, it is an inspiring place.
Best wishes Les.

I love the golden art deco on the dome interior, elaborate and impressive. Your view is almost like a floating star.
Growing up in LALA Land, I was exposed to various art deco architecture and places from the 40s and 50s. LA's Exposition Park has a wealth of art from the period.

bella luce calda e grande qualità per questa cupola.
I disegni moderni sono molto nitidi e sembrano venire fuori dalla foto.

First, I knew you were the one that would crack me up about the photo I posted in the museum, Rodin Sculpture stretching upward. I thought I'd never stop laughing, you made me day for sure!!
Excellent low light capture of this beautiful dome. The colors are mesmerizing and so gorgeous, showing so much detail and all in perfect clarity in so little light. Perfect angle and superb POV, simply stunning, great job Lisa!!

A seriously beautiful photo. The rich golden tones and the inherent detail are wonderful as well as the beautiful composition- did that give you a sore neck? Good that tripod use is allowed in the War Memorial to allow such a beautiful photo. Travelling in Turkey recently I was surprised that tripod use is not only banned in many sites but also confiscated at some!!
I am repeatedly drawn to the fade to black in the arches here- it is so very subtle but such a nice element to the photo
Thanks for sharing, have a great week

I like the way you have positioned the cupola in the frame; very thoughtful. Lighting and detail are both superb.

Interior dome always makes an intriguing image and I am awestruck by this picture. A poignant shot of this magnificent dome with its delicate design and all the splendour with the point of view gives us the opportunity to exploit the features for maximum impact. Lighting superbly managed with great contrast against the dark areas, this is simply flawless capture makes excellent graphical effect as well. Fine work, TFS

What a wonderful dome! Your colour and composition are perfect, but what stands out for me is the fact that this is the first dome I have seen that is not in recognition of religion. All of the domes seem to be about the power of faith, so how wonderful too see this in the memory of the power of mankind. Beautiful and unique image, thanks for sharing :)

Ciao cara amica,
Complimenti e grazie!
Tanti saluti e buona giornata,

Realized you were off for sometime, don't work to hard, easy on.
Nice and perfect dome on picture, taken with fine light and clarity, looking upwards.
