The Yellowstone Park draws its name from the color of its canyon. A genuine pallet of painter. This shot was taken at "Inspiration Point" on canyon southern rim. Although we were at the end of June, a snowstorm had lasted all afternoon and we despaired to see anything. A break appeared towards 18u, reviving the colors and dissolving snow in half an hour. Thank you Mother Nature for this transitory but beautiful gift.

Very good composition, with a good depth in it, very great colours too, good job

C'est beau, ça me rappelle un peu la "case déserte" dans les Alpes, la rivière en moins. Par contre, je trouve un peu inutile toutes les parties brulées (cf ws)

On était fin juin et je me rappelle très bien de ce moment magique... mais pas de la façon dont j'avais cadré. Je n'avais pas l'arbre sur la gauche par exemple et il ajoute beaucoup à la composition, je trouve. Bien vu!
PS: Ma photo depuis ce point de vue n'a pas été publiée sur TE... C'est à voir sur le CD.
