Fall is a great time to visit Alberta's Rocky Mountains: here, we see the Bow River lazily flowing east through Canmore, with the Three Sisters peaks in the left distance, part of The Great Divide range in the Rocky Mountains.

Hello Jeff,
Fantastic wild view !
Excellent diagonal composition. I really like the small clouds wich increase the size of the peaks.
Greetings.
Igor

Hi Jeff
I think Canada does have one of the best landscapes for photgraphy in the world. I've seen many pictures of remote Canada and never get bored with it.
Great shot. I especially like the DOF. The details on the peaks of the mountains are clearly seen.
I only wonder if you had used a smaller apperture, perhaps it would have resulted in a greater DOF, especially on the mountains on the left side. Perhaps. It still looks excellent for me with your apperture.
Cheers
Toby

What a valley, Jeff!
A very nice captured image and well composed, with the mountains wrapped in strings of mist.
Friendly regards,
Eddie

Hi Jeff

Thanks for sharing this wonderful and beautiful scene's picture. You really capture a beautiful scene there, Composition is perfect and good lights there with color, Mountain with clouds looks so good, And i think water is moving that's why reflection is not clear, but a good shot.

best wishes

rajiv

Hi Jeff,
I love the Canmore area and you have shared an excellent image that truly does justice to the place. Well saturated colors and fine details and sharpness. Well done and TFS. Gerald

Hi Jeff,

Beautiful vantage point you had here, seeing this famous range with the Bow providing a nice foreground element. That band of light cloud that travels across the scene really adds to the impression of this place.

Formidable ambiance des Rocheuses, les couleurs sont superbes, l'image est juste un poil trop claire sur la gauche

Hello Jeff,

I;m not sure the Three Sisters or this area in general is part of the Great Divide. The view however is beautiful. You seem to ave an eye to capture beautiful landscapes in the Rockies. Excellent light and colours. The Bow River is always a delight for me to see. Thanks Jeff.

Roberto

Hi Jeff!
Those Rocky Mountains in Canada are just wonderful! I lived in Colorado/USA back in 1982/83. The Rocky Mountains down there are nice, but in Canada, through some of your pictures, like this one, we can see they're much nicer!
TFS - Congratulations!
