Hello JB,

Une très belle vu dans un noir et blanc très à propos ! Cela me donne envie de retourner à New-Yorkafin d'arpenter ces rues sans fin, le nez en l'air ! La brume est parfaite ici et donne une belle ambiance !

Hi JB,
Your New York series are very good, with for me a constant quality in composition and colour handling. Here an almost greytone image with small parts of colour which enhance a certain mood in the picture...i like that.

Bonjour JB -

This NYC image is a bit of a classic with a new twist. I like how you have used the smog, haze, and heat to make some thing out of the ordinary. The desaturation of the image makes this image work - almost giving it an old time look. The Chrysler, once the tallest building, is almost lost among the new buildings. Well done JB!

C'est vrai, paraît un forêt inanimé, froid et sans vie! L'accumulation des édifices ne laisse pas voir les gens, pas aussi les voitures, seulement les sommets qui forment un bel ensemble, mais qu'elles paraissent solitaires! La désaturation est très intéressant ici!

très belle photo même si je ne suis pas d'accord avec ton titre... Je trouve les mots "carte postale" un peu péjoratifs.... pour moi la photo présentée est plus élaborée et possède une belle ambiance ;o) Enfin, je joue sur les mots mais c'est uniquement parce qu'il se fait tard.... donc, bravo et bonne nuit.

En plus, je ne suis pas monté en haut de l'Empire, alors, je découvre le pov...
Et il est super, il très bon et le PP qui rend l'ambiance froide et métallique lui va très bien. Une très belle et impressionnante forêt.

Bonsoir mon ami JB,
tu sais déjà que je suis rendu de NY, et toujours m'attirent l'attention ces photos.
Le paysage urbain des gratte-ciel de Manhattan depuis l'ESB est très bien recueilli dans ce cadrage, et à mon avis le pp en désaturant partiellement les couleurs parvient à donner un aspect froid et de N et B à la scène, qui augmente avec le brouillard.
