Hi Georg. This is a fine shot. I can see that this photo has a similar trait to a recent photo of mine (taken just a few hours from this place!). When you used some kind of noise reduction tool, it created irregular but definite levels in gradation from light to dark. If you figure out to raise and lower levels without making these, let me know! As to the rest of your image: I love it. The colors and contrast are very engaging, as you point out, and you really do a lot here with exposure and composition to bring these to light.

Love the contrasting colours here, and the shapes of rock and branches. Also like that the shot is focused well, and the dead(?) tree in the foreground balances the rocks on the left. Nice shot.

Nice combination of the yellow rocks and the blue sky even if you have used a polarisationfilter. It would have been the great smile from me with a white cloud in the sky
