Monument Valley is frequently used as a background for magazine and films, especially westerns movie. Monument Valley has magnificent scenery with huge mesas and delicate pinnacles in dramatic formations on a flat desert plain. These formations are the monuments, their red colors standing out in sharp contrast against a deep blue sky.
