Photographer’s Note

A peaceful environment with splendid colors, again on Mont-Royal park on a great autumn day. The design of this park on the mountain was made by Frederick Law Olmstead, the same landscape architect who designed Central Park in NY. It was opened to the public in 1876.

Is this young lady writing a love letter or one to break-up with her boyfriend ? maybe just doing her homework? writing her journal? only her knows this, and maybe the squirrel near her feet is her confident.

Another splendid display of your talent to capture the warm mood of a fall forest Nina.The streaming light on the ground and the varied angles of the tree trunks all add to make this a great composition.Interesting note about Olmstead too.
The only distracting thing seems to be a slight halo effect around the largest tree trunk from the left side.

Cette photo respire le calme et la paix. La lumière est très bien captée et la composition est réussie. J'aime beaucoup le contraste et la clarté de cette image.

Warm and gentle. A well shot autumn scene, the shawl suggests the possibility of a chill (earlier, and it is now warming up?). I'm from the Wet Coast (Victoria) so we get great spring colour but a less dramatic fall.

hi Nina, I have just looked at your images too, nice picture, very clean and aesthetic...
why this one? I like pictures with people, people doing things... like here - a girl reading in a forest, very nice scene, very calm...
