Hi Rosie,

Excellent shot. I really like the atmosphere. Even if this person is walking alone in the beach he seems to enjoy it. I also like to take off my shoes and walk like that. Really good job.

Great shot! I especially like the lighting!

I can't tell if the spots in the horizon are birds or scratches on the picture though. Either way, they take some attention away from the walker. I'd probably blurr them out with photoshop. But just a suggestion!

Nice photo, though i would like some less space on the right and some more on the left, and a bit from bottom and top, still quite a nice effort and i like the b/w.

Nice mood and atmosphere on the beach. Walking barefoot on a the beach is a great way to pass the afternoon. Very nice

Yes, I love Monterey! If you like camping, try Butano Park. It's not too far from Monterey.
The photo is a nice "mood" shot. the light is great and well composed.

Hey Rosalie (nice name by the way Ive never heard it before!) I like this photo, it doesnt seem to be a happy photo, but it does express loneliness, the guy walking about on his own. The b+w makes the photo even more moody, as we cant see any sources of light just contrast.

Well done a very nice idea captured well : )

Ha! You thought my skater by the canal was slightly depressing. The mood of this excellent shot belongs in an Alan Ball (Six Feet Under) production.

I am really impressed with the tones, lighting, the few birds - and very impressed by the dark foreground's symmetry with the shoreline and horizon - wonderful capture.
