Photographer’s Note

“Color on the rocks” is the name of this photograph it was taken up behind our house. With camera in hand, I noticed this beautiful butterfly resting on the rocks. Being so colorful he stood out on the grey rocks. The focus could be a little sharper but maybe the next time.
This photograph was cropped, Level adjusted, Framed, sharpened in lab color U. S. M. 70,1,0, and saved for the web .

Superb composition Jim!
The contrast between the beautiful colourful butterfly and the B&W rocks makes this picture perfect

Great contrast of colors against these natural colored rocks. Detail is really good but like you mentioned, could be sligtly sharper. Great image though!
