Photographer's Note
This is a shot of the sculpture outside the UN headquarters in New York. Created by the Swedish artist Carl Fredrik Reutersward as a tribute to John Lennon.
Im pleased with this picture as it makes the gun seem much larger than it really is and emphasises its' detail. Its about 14 inches in length.
Shame the image is not quite central.

I have an incredible aversion to guns, and I've seen this sculpute before and I love it,
Your photo is fantastic it shows the whole gun with very good details. The back ground is busy but doe not detract fom the main focal point.
Very well done.

I wish in real life it was as big as it seems - what an impactful sculpture that would be! I live in hope that America one day ties the knot on it's fascination with firearms - having a Vietnam death toll on the doorstep every couple or few years is bizarre beyond belief to me!
Well shot!
doh!

When I first saw this I thought it was huge.So then this must be a real gun that was heated and bent. Or is it?..I really like this image....Keep Shooting!

Very nice picture. I like this sculpture, I have seen it in art magazines. It is a very effective sculpture.
