One of the great cities of México, Acapulco offers near-perfect weather, lush vegetation, the beautiful bay, fabulous resorts and restaurants, sophisticated shopping and more.
Acapulco is a vibrant city of one and-a-half million people ready to greet and take care of her many visitors. Rich in history, Acapulco can be as busy or as serene as you want it to be. There are numerous attractions, including the world famous cliff divers of La Quebrada, are not to be missed. Bahia de Acapulco is a beautiful place but it is too commercialized. People are everywhere selling you things. The food though is very good and inexpensive. Remember this was my experience in 1985. It is probably more commercialized now than 1985.
