Photographer’s Note
Most people go to Sleeping Bear Dunes national park to get their feet sandy. In addition to the challenging steep bluffs, they are plenty of mild sloped sand dunes, just like big sandboxes.
I am amazed by the natural balance of that place. As seen in this picture, the bodies of grass land, sand dunes, forest, and lake water are embracing one with another peacefully.

Very interesting place Wes, the composition is
good but feel the image is a tad soft, maybe
a strong wind and hand held caused this. keep up the good
work.

The sand dunes looks just like the sand dunes here in the neighbourhood. But when I look to the large lake and the extended woods it seems to be lost.

Nice photo with a amazing wide view, but I find the shapes a bit flat and undetailed and also a bit dark. Despite it's hard to see those people, I like to see them as well. Now I have an idea about the scala and the seize of this landscape.
