My favorite lodging when visiting Yosemite Valley, is the Yosemite View Lodge. It is located 5 miles from the National Park Highway 120 entrance in El Portal.
In late April, the Spring weather melted recent snow, and the Merced was roaring on its steep down slope towards California's San Joaquin Valley.

Isn't the power of water a fascinating thing? I could look at it for hours and still find something new about it. I like how you;ve controlled the shutter to deliver the water frozen like this. The depth of field is excellent, I account for every beautiful detail in the image. Great shot, this series is wonderful.

Hello Ray, another great photo from your Yosemite series showing us here a very different POV from the banks of the river with a view of the lodge in the background. Nice freeze stop of the water with your chosen shutter speed. The power and the force of the water is evident with the white water and tumultuousness of the rapids turning over the rocks.
