Photographer’s Note
Yesterday we had our first snowstorm of the winter in the Northeastern US. This was the scene in my garden early this morning as the last flakes were laying their finishing touches. I enjoy the subdued lighting of this time of day, though I brightened it just a bit to +11 and compensated the loss of contrast by +8. I am just learning from a good friend how to take snow pics, so this is one of my first shots at it. Comments and criticisms appreciated.

Now when I look at this shot I see a nice patio seat that is behind some branches. I would hae moved to the left and wold have taken it without the branches in the way. Its a lovely setting though. This kind of weather makes me think of two things. Going for a walk in the snow with a friend till we get freezing cold noses...or a warmer idea...stay inside and play where its warm after the walk of course..nice scene
