I like how the stem is slightly off-center and leading away from the frame. Good use of DOF. I think this shot could be improved by not having the unfocused pumpkin at bottom left. I wonder how it would look with a polarizing filter to take some of the glare off the right side of the pumpkin.

Nice perspective of a commonplace fall scene. I agree that the bottom left pumpkin in front detracts from the shot.

A slight lightening up of the stem area would bring out a bit more detail. Love the color.

a wonderful shot. even though the idea is not new, you have managed to create a dramatic and beautiful shot. I even like the field beginning at the top. just for the contrast.
great texture on that pumpkin :) too bad about the left bottom one, but in a way it adds depth, as if showing you didnt just focus on the first visible pumpkin.
excellent :)

I'm really not sure what it is about this photo that I like so much, but its one of my favourites!
Maybe its the warm colours, maybe its the great depth of field. Wonderful composition.
Great job! =)

This is a good example of shallow DoF. The textural details on the body and stem are great. As others said, I would also prefer the botton left pumpkin not there, rather have more fuzzy pumpkins behind to add depth.
