Photographer’s Note
Tell City (pop.7595), is along the Ohio River National Byway, which runs through southern Indiana along the twisting course of the Ohio River. The town is named after William Tell, the Swiss hero famous for shooting an apple off his son's head to save them both from being executed. It is a beautiful, old town, one of many I travel to from New Albany, Indiana, where I've lived for about 3 months. (I moved there from Houston, Texas, the 4th largest city in the U.S. New Albany's population is 37,000.)
