Hello Maciej,
Excellent shot, seems to come directly from a movie.
Eric.

As I look at this picture I saw and felt coldness, unfriendly, steel jungle from the steel bollards to cold concrete, stiff human beings , dark asphalt, steel cars and busses. Nothing to tie you to something personal and warm. Is the city really like this?
If that is what you are trying to convey you have succeeded!

A great photo... shows a different view of the "melting pot" city. A city where in someplaces people are all the same and behave the same way... somehow a lost of identity!

Hi Maciej
A great scene and technically good with the diagonal of the men walking. Well seen!

LOL - I have to agree with Miroslaw... at first look I
thought this could be another installment of Matrix, but
this time feat. Condoleezza Rice!
Love the quality of light in this one, Maciej - seems like
a reflected sunlight?
Ah, looking again at the frame... I think I'm gonna go
now - it's been ages since I last listened to Kraftwerk!
;-D
Cheers mate,

Hi Maciej,
I like your capture of the scene very much. That's funny, and so much well composed that it looks like a choreography. That's very dynamic, and the three men in the same direction (and maybe the same "esprit" (which means "spirit", in french)it's just like a gift! A beautiful light, a good timing and the cherry on the cake: the woman walking in the opposite direction, with her red shirt, while the bus behind, as a special guest, gathers both: the color of her shirt and those of the business men.Congratulations!
Regards
Marine
PS:
I am happy to see you around here again after a long while Your "tea lover" is one of my favorite photos and I was eager to see some more again... In your website, you have fabulous pictures from Yemen ( my favorite is the gas station in front of the old town... Shibam?) and from Zanzibar (Abortion is a crime). From India, the portrait of the woman (photo 15/26)is gorgeous too. I hope you'll be less rare on TE!

It leaves me waiting expectantly for the third yellow cab! ...but then we don't need it because of the counter -opposition of the woman she is the third element of the three three's - and breaks the pattern beautifully!

Hi Maciej,
Your one picture from the US is so interesting. It creates elements of a sci fi movie. The taxi's driving, the men marching, and the woman invading. I'm not sure what to expect next. The post in the foreground seem to lock everyone into their path. What will happen? You should try Hollywood. Thanks.
