Another shot of the Butler County Courthouse, taken this time in the bright light of morning. A civil war monument faces the clock tower of the courthouse. The courthouse was built in 1885.
The City of Butler, Pennsylvania is a town of about 15,000 people located about 50 miles from Pittsburgh. Butler was an industrial center during the much of the 1900s, with steel and railcar manufacturing facilities anchoring its economy. During that time the city was fairly dirty and its waterways polluted, but since the decline of the steel industry the town has become pleasant and clean and has a nostalgic 1950s feel. |

The deep rich colours of the sky and the stark stone textures of the architecture combine so well to give this pretty and very pleasing imagee. The pov is superb as well
