Photographer’s Note

That what I feel at the moment... the longer i stay far away from home the longer this way become.

buy the way, I took this photo in my way out of Arlington going to Dallas, i thought not to take the usual I20 but to go through this with good views.

OK Sam,now you tell me: do you think the photo is OK?
Is it only me,I wonder?
The greenish "stuff" between the sky and the ground doesn`t exist and it should not be there.
Both the color and the contrast in the photo are totally screwed up.
Also, in my opinion, there is too much sky there and it really doesn`t bring beauty to your photo.
Sorry for being so rude but maybe you are interested in some real opinions...

it`s a nice shot! Roads are always great to give a feeling of depth and you did a good job composing this picture. I know this sight, saw it so often during my US trips, some roads seem to never end... Nice shot!

Sam,
An alternative route can lead to good photographing opportunity. I like you sentimental of nostalgic. Home sweet home. An image like such can stir such a feeling. You're on the road going somewhere, all road lead to Home :). I don't know what you did but the color look a bit unnatural, very stylish. Certain image is good for experimenting with color for artistic expression. Here I think doesn't work that well, Since it contain natural element that should be kept fairly realistic with some minor creativity. the sky turning from turquoise to purple blue seem strang. Otherwise, I think the composition the sharpness and POV is really great. Thanks Sam for taking us on a scenic route.

Hi Sam,

very nice road catch! I like the strong perspective and the wide dof. The yellow lines lead through the image. There is an interesting post-processing as well. I like this very much!
