Being observed... continues…
They say : To be a photographer is to be an observer...
Oh, well...
Let us think for a moment...
Throughout my entire life, as soon as I hang that black box on my neck or on my shoulder - I am the one who is being observed...
Constantly.. Non-stop... Closely...
Allow me to present another sample…
Walking along the side of the road…
Minding my own business, trying to shoot some palm trees (just in case if you folks have never seen them - yet), or some bushes (the river was near by ), when out of nowhere that band of untamed, car-less men started rolling down the road like a herd of the uncivilized troglodytes… ( America - what do you expect, eh ?)
Were they observing traffic regulations? Were they observing each other?
Look at the picture, folks…
It's a proof before the court of law…
They were observing me… Humble ME !!!!
What…? What did I do…?
Few dozens of pairs of eyes closely observing.. Whom???
Take a wild guess !!!
And that fella in the middle…???
You don't V-sign me, dude… You better get some manners… !!!
…………………………………………..
How you guys out there -how you can work as the accomplished artist photographers in such conditions - beats me…?
Being constantly watched… What a pain in the neck…!
Talk to me folks, about your experience...
I know it happens constantly to all of you out there…
Or... Is it only me…?
...............
The rumors of my tragic death somewhere out there, on the roads of Florida - were slightly exaggerated… I think …(?)
Few bruises, broken glasses, my crotch raneth over several times with the bicycle wheels - yes…
F1 - a legend in its own times - survived !!!

I like the composition but why the black and white? This seems a perfect shot for vibrancy and life. Maybe it was too spontaneous?
Have a good evening,
Rob

Dobre...
Chociaz...nie jestem przekonana do serii "being observed". Kazde zdjecie, gdzie zlapales kontakt ludzki, moze wejsc przeciez do tej kategorii...
Chociaz...cos jest dziwnego tutaj w tonacji szarych. Chociaz...czyzby jakies przeostrzenia byly, czy to tez oczy rano moje tak widza ostro ? ;))))))))))))))).
Ale samo ujecie peletonu z przodu, oraz te "observatory", sa wspaniale.
Pozdrawiam. Grazyna.

Love the contrast between the smiley guy and the not so smiley "Fatcat" in the FG (who looks like he may be carrying a few pounds of excess baggage!) What is it with you and cyclists?
Best regards, Roberto
a mogło być tak fajnie....
poszły się paść kontrasty....
szkoda....

They don't seem really serious, nor in speed, it seems rather a show off under the sun, they are not sweating enough and don't look so concentrated (and you are distracting them !)- I'll not complain for that ! a funny shot !
(!!! Wondering why the whites are so dark - except for the V-sign : obviously you were wearing sunglasses ???)
Anyway, it's your style and it's fun - so, I like it !
Keep on laughing,
Cath.
