[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On my last camping trip we went up to the top of Sunrise Mountain located in Stokes State forest. Along a sheer drop off was a wooden guard rail with the words I love beans bauer spray painted onto it. Strange to see something like this in a place like this, but I thought it was interesting enough. The view was beautiful though, and off into the distance is the Delaware River and then the state of Pennsylvania beyond.

There's something very attractive about the lower contrast given my 400 ISO film. It's less 'in your face' than digital, or even 100 ISO film, come to that.

The message on the wood isn't the usual mindless graffiti, it's a declaration of love. I hope there's someone called 'Beans Bauer' as telling someone called Bauer that you love beans doesn't quite have the same emotional impact...

Nice shot. Paul.

Hello Brian! I just thought if I should know Beans Bauer and if I maybe had a lack in my knowledge and this is a famous person or brand :) But maybe it is just someone who wants to tell someone something. I find it somehow attractive, the whole scenario, with the grain in the picture adding a journalistic side effect. Not bad at all ... it has something ... Barbara.
