Photographer’s Note
This was the first shooting assignment on my recent photo workshop in the Wallowa Valley located in northeast Oregon. This barn looked like it had just received a fresh coat of paint which really made it stand out against the stormy clouds. Seeing Fulvio's recent shots of some colourful buildings in Holland prompted me to present one of my own.

Hello Phil,
Indeed this barn look almost new. The red colour is always an eyecatcher and here you even show us a little bit of the mountains for a more dramatic view. Nice sharpness and angle to capture a tridi view of this building. Cheers :-)

Hi Phil
From the red color I always first associate Norway to such images, but the style is different, a nice view of this barn under good light which allows you to display brilliant highlights.
Have a nice day JY

Hello Phil,
The light on the barn is very good. I like the picture specially because this barn is built in very impressive surroundings. The prairie, the snowcapped mountains and the low hanging clouds make this photo very beautiful.

Off she goes into my faves... no additional high-tech chitchat needed. I know what I see.

Hi Phil,
I am a serious fan of older barns, so this one sure grabs my attention, but am hoping maybe you will post one with more of the ambience around it. Good sharp details and colors. Well done and TFS. Gerald

Hi Phil,
Although the ws shows more from the surrounding mountains, it is the view here on that beautiful red house what makes the photo very pleasant to look at..
Great detail on the woodwork, probably also enahnced by that big white beauty in front of your camera.
Clarity is superb, really a great shot.
Regards, Henk

I love these type of images with a dramatic sky but sun on the subject. When the subject is bright red then you have a winner. Well done

Hi Phil. Wonderful contrast between the graphical nature of the barn and the more random colours and patterns of the stormy backdrop. Well handled exposure and strong composition. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good weekend, Paul.

Hi Phil
The barn is really nice and it looks almost new. The architecture is different from others. The contrast between the place the barn is and the white and snowy mountains in the background is impressive. Excellent colours, details and point of view. The distribution of light is very good too. Bravo!
Best regards
Denis!
