| On Father's Day, my father and I took a memorable hike up to Nymph and Dream lakes in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. A fairly easy hike, it nevertheless was a steady climb in elevation. In addition to the gorgeous lakes, one is treated to several stunning panoramic photo opportunities along the way. This was my favorite. |

Hi Jerod,
Maybe a bit late but I still should say "Welcome to trekearth!".
First, you should pay attention to the fact that you are permitted to post photos up to 200KB and this one is only 92KB which causes pixelation to be visible, especially on the sky area.
Secondly, if the contrast is that big, you should try to expose for the sky.If your camera doesn`t do that, buy one which does it.Then, during the post-processing,recover the shadows. The white clouds are blown-up completely.
There are serious problems with the colors, too because the conifers are not green, not even far.
OK,that`s it for today:)
Cheers and good luck!
