hello Stéphane,
captivating contrast between the slightly drab skyscreapers and bouncy red cube, I like it a lot, I find it conveys very well surprises NYC holds. the tilt works well to emphasise the precariously balancing cube, this is very well seen and presented.

Bonsoir Stéphane,
une bonne inclination du cadrage pour augmenter le dynamisme et le graphisme de ce Red Cube d'Isamu Noguchi que je rappelle parfaitement de mon séjour dans NY.
La couleur intense rouge de cette sculpture, et sa géométrie, elles donnent un résultat élégant visuel, fort et attractif.
Une composition excellente.

Bonjour Stephane,

Ca fait plaisir de voir cet endroit. J ai des amis qui ont un gros agrandissement d une photo du meme endroit, prise en fin de journée avec un rayon de lumiere (surement encadré par 2 grands immeubles) et qui eclaire juste le cube.
Ton choix de reglage de contraste rend l image assez graphique en accentuant les textures sur les facades d immeuble. Je ne suis pas un grand fan des cadrage tilté mais je reconnais qu ici ca permet d inclure la totalite de l immeuble blanc en arriere plan, ce qui apporte beaucoup a la composition.

I think it is you more than anyone that is making me start to appreciate the way a tilt can add drama to a scene. I love how the strange red cube surprises us and contrasts with the typical NY architecture. I note at least one edge of the cube is perfectly horizontal. Accident or design? ;D

Tu t'es bien amusé sur ce coup, un très joli mélange de formes géométriques avec une cadrage bien pensé. Le rouge du cube attire bien l'œil dans cet univers une peu froid!!

The red cube is certainly unexpected! What is it..a neo art?...amidst all the skyscrapers, rather drab sky...and of course you still have problems keeping your camera straight, but 'miraculously' the top edge of the cube is! ;-)

Le cadrage serré sur cette oeuvre d'art donne un contraste intéressante avec l'environnement en arrière plan. Tu as eu raison de tilter... je trouve que ça en impose plus à ce beau cube rouge. Bien vu Stéphane.

Stéphane, c'est une très belle prise avec ce cube rouge en premier plan. Le paysage urbain s'en trouve transfiguré. Le dynamisme du cube ajouté à celui du tilt donne beaucoup de peps à l'image.
