Las Vegas has many fantasy visions to explore but few as dramatic as the glass pyramid of the Luxor Hotel with its lights and reflections by day and by night. Its interior is just as dramatic also as the pyramid is a large deep hollow space with hotel rooms forming the skin and elevators that slide up and down the corners.
The lowest floors across the base are given over to gambling tables and machines and other exotic entertainments. The searchlight is claimed to be the most powerful in the world.
Exif shows 1.6 seconds not 2 (there's been some rounding up somewhere) which is amazing for hand-held. Alright I did steady myself and there was some assistance from the Canon IS system - a not bad group effort though?
Resized and sharpened in PSE.

It's a pity we can't see more the ray of light, maybe a vertical framing without trees would have been better... nice shoot anyway ;-)

You've managed to make Las Vegas seem more exotic than it is!!!!I love the shot, particularly at night. Well done!
