Photographer’s Note

There we go... Forbidden Gardens, the Texas version of one of the most wonderful places/art work made by the man.

Located 40 minutes from Houston, this outdoor museum is quiet interesting and very well done (6,000 piece terra-cotta army replicated in 1/3 scale, that's a lot of work). It was build by a Hong Kong business man in where used to be a rice plantation.

La foto transmite muy bien esa sensación de repetición continua. Y creo que ese es y ese tenía que ser el mayor acierto de la foto.

Very interesting place indeed. The tight frame and the low POV that you chose, made it more attractive. Good composition.

long time no see, welcome back !
LOL a chinese army in texas, certainly not what I'd expect from there but americans like japanese like to import the world to their country so that they can have the impression of travelling even staying on US ground ! The close framing and perspective work well to outline a multitude impression.

I thought you went loco with the location . . . so since I'm such a wise guy I would have a look and have some fun . . . actualy it IS fun . . . and neither one of us is loco :))

it looks impressive . . . the crop seems OK but I wonder if a focus on the guy with the beard and mustache on the back wouldn't have been better.

good note . . . interestingly . . . I went to Xi'an 11 years ago . . . and they took us to another museum before we went to the 'real' one . . . a museum about the wonders of the world . . . with replica's . . . and now this wonder of the world is being copied already in Texas :))

La verdad que pensé al ver esta foto en mis favoritos, las cuales se ven pequeñas, que había sido tomada en China y no le puse mucha atención, hoy volví a verla y la amplié y me he dado cuenta que fue tomada en Katy, Texas, Wow!!. La verdad que es muy buena foto, esta muy bien captada y las 6000 replicas de los "terra-cotta army" son perfectas.
Un buen trabajo.
