Googlemaps: Mount Lafayette

Photo of the long ridge and summit of Mount Lafayette, the only important summit of the Presidential Range in the White Mountains that was not named after a US president but instead named after the French General and Marquis that was particularly instrumental in the American Revolution, afterwards an important figure of the French Revolution and opponent of Napoleon.
Panorama assembled together from 10 vertical pictures carefully stitched, taken on a superb sunny day from Mont Lincoln. In the large version of the panorama we can observe the ski center of Cannon Mountain on the other side of the Franconia Notch (Site of the famous NH Old Man of the Mountain), and the Greenleaf Hut in the middle of the ridge.

Ciao Bruno,
beautiful image, very spacious and with a great depth. For me, that adore the mountains, is a pleasure to see this photo. Bravo.
Ciao
Paolo.

Bonjour Bruno,
Bonne journee JY

Hi Bruno,

The view toward the plains is fantastic. I like this type of terrain because of the challenges and excellent vews they offer. Nice pano shot with very good details and natural colours. A nice place to spend time hiking I think. Thanks Bruno.
