[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Grand Canyon, AZ
- photo taken in Feb of 2004 with a Nikon E880 - at 4 in the afternoon in bright sun with some clouds at the horizon.
Down on the plateau (center photo) at the end of the road there's a nice place to rest after a long hike (more than half-way down the canyon) - from that point you can see the Colorado River with it's beautiful (and unusual) deep green color (the green color of the river is perhaps the visual combination of two reflective colors - the blue of the sky + the yellow/orange of the rocks).
See also the workshop I made with a few adjustments.

Pretty photo, pretty place.

Hi Daniel!
The place is wonderful and well-known all over the world, but it's always a pleasure to see it!
Good sharpness and natural colors (I'd prefer them stronger)!
TFS - Congratulations!
Greetings from Brazil,

Hi Daniel,
well I have been there a month ago and I have to say it is unbelievable there! I have never seen anything like that before and I was totally overwhelmed by the beauty of this place. This place is too wonderful to show all of his beauty. You just have to feel it yourself. I really like your shot, the wide view into the canyon si great, but just as when I was there, I guess you weren`t that lucky with the weather, but you managed it very well. I still see some remains of snow on the left side of the canyon, how nice.
I know one day I`ll come back, maybe during winter because this place is too wonderful to only have it seen once. Nice shot, tfs.

Take care
Mark
