[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A little bit different that my usual posts, but still one with a message.

The photo itself is just a cute little shot of a cute little duckling following his mother around. There were about 4 or 5 other ducklings on the small pond, but this one is the only one that was still hanging out so close to his mother. All of the others didn't seem to care I was there.

This was shot this morning while I was covering a golf tournament. The tournament was the usual fund raising event, but its the foundation that makes me want to post this photo.

The tournament was to benefit Variety of Colorado. It is an organization that I have donated my services to for the last couple of years. They are an movie industry charity with chapters in most of the state in America, and a few chapters overseas. They are a charity that works with children. The Colorado chapter concentrates on mobility issues for children. They have provided many families with disabled children such things as adapted bicycles and tricycles, as well as wheelchair accessible vans to other families.

Three weeks ago, they also gave away about 65 bikes to kids from under privileged children at a local school. That was a blast to watch the faces of the kids as they got their bike, and in some cases, were taught how to ride.

As I mentioned, this isn't one of my normal posts, but it is a fun one indeed, and helps advertise one of the charities that live in my heart.

Enjoy, and let me know what you think.
